I assist plan sponsors in selecting record keepers and investment services, including 3(38) investment fiduciaries and 3(16) administrative fiduciaries. Equitable Advisors, LLC., affords plan sponsors access to over 30 defined contribution service provider arrangements. In addition to benchmarking and selection, my practice seeks to educate plan sponsors about general plan fiduciary issues and assist with participant communication and education.

My corporate clients are domiciled in OK, KS, TX, AR and CA.

To stay on top of financial issues and develop my professional skills, I regularly attend industry training and certification programs. This includes completing the curriculum and passing the following exams:

  • Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor ®
  • Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)
  • Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) (CLU and ChFC are professional designations of The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.)
  • FINRA Securities Registration: Series 6, Series 7, and Series 65
  • Qualified Plan Specialist (Qualified Plan Specialist title awarded by Equitable Advisors, based upon successful completion of an internal training program and written assessment.)
  • Wharton Certificate in Retirement Planning
  • Bachelors of Business Administration, Baylor University

I currently serve as lead financial advisor on at least forty qualified retirement plans, most of which incorporate both 3(16) and 3(38) fiduciary services.  Every three to five years, I can provide detailed analysis of over thirty 401(k) service providers to help fiduciaries prudently document 401(K) due diligence.

I also serve as the lead financial advisor on eleven qualified plans that have recently elected to join a Pooled Employer Plan (PEP) allowed by the Secure Act.  PEPs take substantial workloads and fiduciary risks off the already full plates of owners, CFOs, and HR Directors.

eq . ui . ta . ble (adjective) -- fair, impartial, reasonable, nondiscriminatory -- all of which are important qualities of employer/fiduciaries when administering plans and selecting 401(k) service providers. Employers work with me to build their employees' financial futures thru 401(k) plans and health & welfare plans.
